This airport seems stuck in the last century. The immigration queue for travelers who do not even require a visa took 1 hour and 30 minutes, and the airport was not particularly busy.
Staff kept leaving their posts and never returning. Only three people were available to assist passengers, which borders on disrespectful.
I sincerely hope I never have to come back.

Friendly and caring staff.....asked me why I was crying, when I told tgem I greeted my family and wont see them for 2 yrs, the staff conforted me.

There aren’t many places to go when waiting at your gate besides duty free shopping and maybe two restaurants. But there are decent options in case you need to do some last minute souvenir shopping.

Very expensive souvenirs. Better prices Johannesburg. Great service at MTC mobile for eSIM. Small airport so limited things to do while waiting
